MyBucket is a web application that informs users of opportunities nearby that allow them to cross something off their bucket list.
I built MyBucket with Maryam Archie for MIT's Web Programming Competition (6.148) with the idea of helping users complete items on their bucket list as they may be unaware of available opportunities.
Features
- Users are alerted if an opportunity arises near them to complete items on their bucket lists.
- Once they complete an activity, users can share their experience with others.
- Users can view others' bucket lists.
- A bank of suggestions is available to users.
Design
Working on MyBucket was a great experience as I was able to try new web designs and get more experience in full stack development. Our project was also a semifinalist in the competition!
